I designed the fuel lever after observing the stock lever that is included with the Vans kit.  I just could not live with the fact that the handle was the pointer and the actual pointer had to be ground off.  The other critical factor was the look of the stock lever.  People were building these wonderful aircraft and putting in interiors worth thousands of dollars and had to look at the terrible cast lever. 

I began with a concept and after working with several machinist I have designed the lever that is today available at the following retailers.
